Cheryl C. Carter, CPA and founder of Accounting & Business Solutions, LLC, helps small businesses in Columbia, SC with their accounting and QuickBooks needs. She makes it a priority to learn her clients’ businesses in depth, which enables her to develop and provide meaningful financial reporting for better decision-making. She has also cultivated an exceptional ability to troubleshoot QuickBooks software problems for her clients.

Cheryl offers bookkeeping, payroll, outsourced accounting services, and financial statement preparation along with consulting services for QuickBooks users. Since 1999 Cheryl has been assisting businesses set up, clean up, customize, and learn how to use their QuickBooks software. As a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, she helps businesses get the most they can from their software investment.

Some of her recent projects for clients include reorganizing QuickBooks for a physician group to enable more granular income reporting, setting up job costing for a contractor so they can estimate jobs better, converting a glass company from Peachtree to QuickBooks and catching up on bank reconciliations, and correcting a QuickBooks setup and doing the monthly accounting for a fast food franchise with 11 restaurants.

Cheryl earned her accounting degree from the University of South Carolina. When she is not working she enjoys family time, traveling, golf, and pickleball.
